What about cleaning fees?
The fee for basic cleaning is included in the cost. This assumes that you leave the house pretty much as you found it. Trash cans, recycling, and compost have all been taken to the appropriate places. The dishes should all be clean and put away or in the dishwasher cleaning. There should not be spaghetti smeared on the walls or Captain Crunch cemented to the counter. If you had trouble following the three-treasure rule on the beach, you have taken the shells you don’t want and returned them to the beach, rather than leaving them artfully displayed on the kitchen counter. Beach towels are clean.
